The Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test
At Nenagh Tutorial, we offer grinds to students who are intending on taking the GAMSAT test for entry into medicine and health professions degree programs. The exam draws upon a wide ranging skill set and subject knowledge, naturally aligns it to the problem-based learning environment in most medical schools. Whilst the GAMSAT Exam is predominantly multiple choice based, it places great emphasis on reasoning ability and critical thinking. It effectively gives a 360 degree overview of your ability to master information adeptly and select relevant responses within a limited time frame. It actively encourages a lateral thinking approach, thinking ‘outside of the box’. After all, the study and practice of medicine demands the ability to sift through, interpret and make swift judgements from ever increasing quantities of information and data.
Our GAMSAT grinds can be delivered person to person at our school in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary or delivered via a Zoom or Teams video call.
If the student chooses the person to person GAMSAT grind, he/she is required to follow the latest Covid – 19 restrictions.
- Students must sanitise hands upon entry to the room.
- Face coverings will be in line with guidelines set out by the Department of Education and Science.
Cost of the GAMSAT grinds are €60 for a 1 hour grind.
